Guest DT - Kelly Massman and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone, Kelly Massman here.  I was so excited to be chosen as a Guest Designer here this month.  I really love the Crafter’s Companion stamps and was so happy to be able to share a project with you.

Today, I’m sharing a Valentine’s Day card that I made for my husband using a double box flower! I’ll show you how to make one, too! They are so fun and easy to make.  I enjoyed making it for my guest design post here today at Crafter's Companion USA Challenge Blog.  The elephant is from the Humphrey's Corner Collection - Birthday Girl. She is a birthday girl, but I've used her for Christmas and Valentine's already! :-)

Now, here is my tutorial for the lovely Double Box Flowers:

First, make 4 same-sized scallops:

Second, crumple the scallops:

Third, fold the scallops in half:

Add the glue a little off center!

Glue together in a box fashion. You are finished!

You can stack them! Here, I’ve stacked two flowers with a big eyelet!  I hope you have been inspired a bit by my project today and have time to join in on this month’s "Anything Goes" Challenge.

And the last bit of happy news I have to share is regarding the stamp set giveaway this week!  This week the Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog is giving away the stamp set Babe from the Strawberry Kisses Collection!!  Enter to win by leaving a comment on this blog post.  You will have until Thursday, January 26th at 8pm PST to enter.  The winner will be posted here on Friday the 27th.  So please stop back by to see if you have won.  Good luck!

Have a great week!
