Giveaway and - Shop til you drop SWALK card

Good morning...today I am inspiring you with a card I made using Winter SWALK stamp set called Shop Til You Drop. I used my Gypsy to cut out the background for the stamped image, then I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored in the image in using my awesome Spectrum Noir markers. I don't really know much about how to do the shading but I am going to try and practice a little with them so that I can get better.

I used some Distress Ink in Dusty Concord to ink the edges and some Icicle Stickles on the fur on the image to give it a little sparkle. I made a bow using some twine that I made myself just because I didn't want a big ribbon on this card to take away from the image because I LOVE these SWALK stamps they are so adorable.
I want to also let you know the exciting news....we are giving away one of our brand spanking new stamp sets this week. The stamp we are giving away is Art-Kure - Tewksbury. These stamps give the feeling of a timeless Britian. The giveaway is open to all US residents. To enter to win you will just need to leave a comment on this post. The giveaway is open until 8pm PST Thursday, January 19th. We will post the winner on Friday the 20th. So please stop back by to see if you have won. I hope you are inspired today to make a little something.

Beautiful image, it reminds of a little town on Highway 395 going towards Lake Tahoe. Would love to use this stamp in our scrapbook right along with the picture of the actual town.

Such a great image, Amy! I just colored her yesterday for my daughter's upcoming birthday card :) I'm still working on the shading too...I'm amazed at what I see out there in bloggyland, and I'm determined to one day color just the same way. I love the color scheme you used to color her :)
